About me and who I am looking for :
I am a student working on a Paralegal Associates, but I want to continue to a BA in Political Science. I am smart, fun and energentic. I am liberal.
I want to travel the world. I love to learn about new things and being aware of my surroundings and the world is important to me. I love to eat good food of all kinds, I love going on adventures and not knowing what is around the corner. However, I do not like surprises,when I am the last to know (ie bday parties). I love movies and I love to read and write. I was in drama so I love a good show - drama, comedy, musicals, music. I love music and grew up with old school everything from the temptations to micheal jackson. I don't really like rap or heavy medel. I like songs that I can sing to on the radio :). I am silly and have a good sense of humor.
The kind of person I am looking for is mature, has gone to school or is in school and has a carrer path ahead of them. I would want to be supportive of this person and I would want to be supported by this person on my own schooling and carrer path. Someone who I can carry on a conversation with about anything from our favorite childhood cartoons and TV shows (Rugrats and ALL THAT)to family life to national and world issues. I am looking for someone who is like minded on politics ... although I do not expect to agree with him on everything. Someone who will challenge me to think differently but will accept it if I do not change my views. Someone who likes to travel and wants to travel. And a good sense of humor. Someone who likes to read and write and watch movies and listen to music.
These things are all more important to me than physicallity. But I am 5ft8in so I am looking for someone taller than me. I don't always wear heels but I when I do, if I am eye to eye that is fine. I would not want this person to be insecure about his height especially if I wear heels. Pyhical attraction is important, I won't lie. But I don't think I have a "type" at this point.

I am a student so I am on a budget. If I eat out, I like good food like indian, greek, mexican, italian, or a great cheeseburger. I am also a nanny, so I prep a lot of kids meals like chicken nuggets or mac and cheese. I make and eat alot of healthy meals.
I exercise, but not in a gym - I walk across campus and up&down city blocks to get to or from the bus or resturants or the law library. I am not much of an out doors girl but I like the occational picnic and I love to swim. Sometimes I like to hit the hike and bike trails but for a short distance or period of time (no more than an hour).
I don't drink much, but haven't had a chance too go out. I am not really a "party girl" in the sterotypical sense of the word. I will enjoy a glass of wine with my best friends and I am strongly against drinking and driving (isn't everyone?)so it will always be in a safe zone for me.

I am baptised as a Episcapalian but I am more spiritual than religious. I believe in inclusion, "attraction not promotion" and I will tell you what I believe without expecting you to convert and I will not be receptive if you try to convert me. I am always open to hear about the religious beliefs and views of another person. I have always said that if everyone took 5 mins to learn about another religion, then maybe we would be a little closer to peace.

Occupation Description :
As of the beginning of October 2012, I will be a live-in nanny for a family taking care of a two-year old boy for 2 days a week. It is part time even with a live-in status. I am also going to school. All of my classes are at night - they are 2 days a week as well with 6 credit hours.
Mostly my classes consist of learning the law, how to navigate it, how to update it and find it. The classes include legal research and writing for example amoung many others. In my final semester, I will be required to have an internship to complete the program.
I would like to eventually continue on in school, with the intention of getting a BA (or better) in Political Science and a dream of one day going to law school. Like I said, education is important to me.
Beyond a job as a paralegal, I am not sure what I want to do, but I know a few things that I do NOT want to do. I guess you could say it will end up being a process of elimination.
